As a model its very important you know your statistics. To get an accurate measurement, Grab measurement tape and a friend for help. Hold the tape skin tight so it wouldn’t pull out of your hand but not too forceful, place an index finger on the tape measure loosen it slightly and record the number. For accuracy I recommend measurement in swimwear, supportive unpadded bra or very fitted clothing, stand straight with your feet together with arm relaxed to your side, measure with tape flat to your skin with no gap or pull that way you’re sure not to make tape too tight or too loose.
Many aspiring models are not properly informed, in modeling your bust size is not always the same size with your bra for example you may be a 32B but have a 34 inch bust, measure the fullest part of your bust which is your nipple level remember to make sure the tape is parallel to the floor holding on to the measurement breathe in and out to make the tape comfortable and hold in a snug position the number on the tape is your measurement. To get an accurate burst size your cup size is not the same as your bra.
Your waistline is different from your jean size very different from what you’re used to, it usually is the smallest part of your waist where your waist goes in most, for you it might be above or below your belly button depending on how high or low your waist is, that’s where you measure to find your natural waistline.
You do not want to measure your hip bone otherwise you’ll get an impossible measurement, very important to stand with your hips together measure the fullest part of your hips and bum.
Preferably measure your height barefoot, stand against the wall tall and straight on bare foot have someone run a ruler/book from the tallest part of your head straight back to the wall, mark the point the where the ruler/book touches measure it straight from the mark to the floor,To get a accurate measurement without stress use a steel tape measure (industrial tape measure) it’s more explicit as the foot and inches is shown on a steel tape unlike the tailoring tape measure (metric)
using inch write down the number divided by 12 the number you get is your height.
